Paneer Matar Makhana Recipe without Onion and Garlic


Ingredients: Paneer 300 gm into 1 inch cubes (Cottage Cheese) Makhane Dry Roasted 50 gm (Fox Nuts) Frozen Peas 250 gm Puree: (Tomatoes 5, Cashews 1 cup, Ginger 2 inch piece, Mirch 2) Cream 240 ml Crushed Cashews 4 Tbsp Raisins 3 Tbsp Grated Cottage Cheese/Paneer 50 gm Sugar 1 Tsp Spices: Cumin Seeds 1 Tsp Turmeric Powder 1 Tsp Dry Coriander Powder 3 Tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder 3 Tsp Paprika/Degi Mirch Powder 1 Tsp Salt 2 Tsp Garam Masala 1/2 Tsp Kasturi Methi 2 Tsp Oil 1 cup Bay Leaf 2 leaves Black Cardamom 2 No.s Cinnamon Stick 1 No. Cloves 7-8 No.s Black Pepper 7-8 No.s

Procedure: Paneer Matar Makhana Recipe (Without onion or garlic)

1. Take oil in a Pan and heat it. 2. Once the oil is hot, lower the flame and add whole spices (Bay Leaf, Black Cardamom, Cinnamon Stick, Cloves, Black Pepper) 3. Stir the whole spices for a few seconds. 4. Add cumin seeds and let it splutter. 5. Add turmeric powder and Paprika/Degi Mirch Powder and stir well for a few seconds. 6. Add Tomato puree and stir till the oil separates from the mixture. 7. Add Dry coriander powder and Kashmiri red chilli powder. 8. Lower the flame to add cream in the mixture and keep stirring. 9. Add Salt and Grated cottage cheese/Paneer and Peas and stir well. 10. Cover the lid and let it cook on low medium flame for 5-7 minutes. 11. Now add the cottage cheese/Paneer cubes and stir evenly. 12. Add Makhanas to the gravy mixture and mix well. 13. Pour in water(approx 2.5 Glasses or to the required gravy quantity) and bring it to a boil over high heat. 14. Cover the lid and let it come to a boil and cook for 4-5 minutes. 15. Add cashew and raisins. 16. Add kasturi methi for flavour and sugar to sweeten the gravy. 17. Add garam masala and coriander leaves mix well and simmer for a minute. Your restaurant style paneer matar makhana is ready to serve. Enjoy it with Naan, Parantha or Rice. Garnishing Tips: Coriander leaves, Green chilli, Ginger, Cashews
